For several years, Amy has studied traditional painting methods with her
father, Alex Gnidziejko. Amy delights in the simplicity of everyday
objects. She renders these subjects in one of two mediums, watercolor or
an egg tempera oil emulsion. Her distinct style is most evident in her
watercolor still lifes. These works draw attention to elegant forms by
placing them into minimalist backgrounds. An emerging artist in the
genre of contemporary realism, Amy's work can be viewed at Manitowoc Art
in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and the Gnidziejko Gallery in Camden, Maine.
